Paper just feels right.

Traditional media will always have a place in the brand strategy of active and growing businesses.

IWU Annual Report

While a website or email has the power to reach far more people, only paper can touch them.

Getting information into the hands of a researcher or curious reader is essential for brand building. With content that is compelling and thoughtful, a printed piece designed and executed well is impactful.

Whether on display at the local coffee shop or tucked next to a utility bill, it will get ignored if it's boring or unrefined. Good content leads to good design which gets noticed.

Financials can be tedious to read, but if your organization has stellar numbers, call it out. A well-designed report reminds investors and donors why an organization is worthy of trust.

Case Study: Illinois Wesleyan University Viewbook

Ologie, a brand consulting firm, was hired by Illinois Wesleyan University to develop a new brand strategy. Their recommendations focused on the following platform: "Who will you be? At Illinois Wesleyan, passion finds a place for each of us. And pushes us to become more. To be bolder. To be better. To BE BREAKTHROUGH."

Ologie created parameters for writing headlines and speaking in a coherent and consistent voice. As for visual components, fonts, a color palette, photo treatments and several sample layouts for brochures, ads and digital graphics were furnished.

With guidelines in place, the task, together with IWU Director of Marketing Andrew Kreiss and staff, was to translate these suggested guidelines into material work.
